During my sophomore year, I was able to conduct collaborative research as team lead, studying the effectiveness of stratospheric aerosol injection using either calcium carbonate or aluminum oxide. The reflectiveness of each particle was tested using a chamber to stimulate the lower stratosphere and a pump to stimulate the injection of various concentrations in various conditions.
